we owned a 1991 mazda mx-6 GT that had over 250,000 miles on it when we sold it. It had the original clutch, engine, transmission, turbo. It still could go fast and beat alot of other supposingly fast cars on the highway (many hurt feelings) If maintained properly most cars will last. We recently bought an 06 Mazdaspeed 6 and love it so far.Go test drive one

My friend Mazda makes some of the best vehicles on the planet today for a very reasonable price..my parents have been driving Mazda since they first came out with the MPV mini-van..and have never looked back..My father has just purchased the new 2007 Mazda Tribute..what an amazing piece of machine. The only reason i have never bought a Mazda is because i'm a full size truck man but now that they have one..my next vehicle WILL BE a Mazda..

I own a 2006 Mazda 3i touring. it's a great car and it's entirely built in Japan, but Mazda 6's are not. My mom owns a Mazda 626 with a 130k miles and it still runs. My bro's Mazda protege has > 100k and it runs great. Mazda's are one of the most underrated Japanese brands and have recently become popular because of the sporty 3 model. I love my car and it hasn't given me any problems so far. Mazda 6 is bigger and roomier, but the 3 is a tighter, sportier feel with excellent handling when compared to Honda Civic or the Toyota Corolla..booooring! :)

I have a Mazda 6 TD (diesel) on which the big end shell bearings needed replaced after 47,000 miles. I know of four other Mazda vehicles with the same type engine that needed the bearings replaced and or crankshaft reground. Mazda UK refused to help as the vehicle was just outside the three year/60,000 mile warranty. I replaced the bearings myself and found what I consider to be an inherent design fault which would contribute to the bear failure.

I got a brand spanking new Mazda Tribute for Christmas-Crazy lady ran a light and hit me right in my side -door, which usually results in horrible results, had mother with me.The insurance totaled my truck thank God , we got out with out a scratch. She hit 5 other cars after mine. Mazda is owned by Ford. They are all alike. The Mazda is put togehter better to me than the Escape which is the almost same truck, but for some reason Mazda is put together tougher. NOw I drive a Bigger Truck!! Wanna Feel SAfe. Can't help it - have phobia of crazy women running lights.

I own a 93' 626 Rebuilt car with 114,000 miles on it and to tell you the truth Its a wonderful reliable car even tho of its age and history (it was in a car accident previous to me getting it) I have not had to have anything out of the ordinary done to it besides minor cosmetic (new mirror and tires) other than that its an excellent car. I would def purchase another mazda and Im a Chevy kinda girl lol

HELL NO !! They're cheaply made. Made under the Ford name, built not to last, and have multiple repairs, so they can make money of the repairs. The rotors on the brakes go out often, also plenty of problems with manual transmissions. Worst car the lemon of all cars is the current Mazda RX8....look it up on the web!!

Mazdas that were built roughly around the 2000 and up after they were bought out by Ford are much better. the only exception to this is the FD-3S built earlier. but generally they are great cars and i prefer their rotary engines to the piston ones.
