Never mind the narco death squads, they aren't looking for you. President Calderon has his hands full with several states' crime problems. Improvements have been made. Both countries need to look at land border crossings and improve traffic flow. Two to three hour waits! Can you imagine how much fuel is used at idling speed? Take note Al Gore. Some people in high places, namely Customs and Homeland Security have grossly misjudged the number of cars and people waiting to get across the borders to jobs, doctor's appointments, shopping, etc. Not an explosive device or drugs in a carload.

Well stopping the rampant crime would be a good start. Why would anyone want to go to Mexico with all the narco death squads, kidnappings, and police on the take is beyond me.

Too many other nice places to visit without taking your life into your hands.
