Is your PC (XP) always on and connected to the internet? If this is the case, then look no further. The only thing you need is a LogMeIn software you need to install on your PC.

You can then access and control your PC remotely using a web browser.

Consider this fact. I went to Asia for a month long vacation. My office (USA) was having some problems on a report. I connected half way around the world using a dial-up connection to take control of my office PC (Win2000) and generate a new report. Truly a job saver!!!!

One last thing, it's FREE!!!!

You would need an appropriate Server Program to run on the PC, depending on what you want to accomplish remotely.
Probably a Virtual Private Network setup would be involved.
Call the customer service desk of a larger computer store to see what software products are available for this.
