2002 Chevrolet 2500 Fuel Sensor Problem?

Need help starting my 2002 Chevrolet 2500?
Duramax Diesel 2002 Chevrolet 2500

Started the truck this morning, ran for two minutes then died. Has power, turns over and is not giving me any computer codes. No dead fuses either.

A red wire ontop the fuel filter had come undone so I plugged back in. Still won't run.

Someone told me that a problem similiar to this happaned before on the truck, and that the dealers had to replace the fuel (filter?)sensor. Any ideas?

I would make sure the fuel filter isnt plugged, that is what that sensor should be for and it may have been uplugged to shut off a dash light maybe ??? also is the fuel pump actually running during cranking
