Define soon!

I mean, in reality your PG is alomost up whether the sweep workes or not isn't it? I know it feels like forever (after 2 38 / 39 week deliveries, I ahd a 42 weeker) but you know in your heart it isn't long now.

The pain could be due to labour beginning- or the sweep. And whilst sweeps can work they don't always. In reality, there are no answers, labour is still one of the great mysteries of our time.

But there's a good chance baby will be here in a day or two- so use the time to rest, read, sleep- all those things that you'll soon forget exist!

And good luck- how exciting for you!

Try and keep active sweetie. I had my second son last year and found that keeping on the move helped, in fact my labour was only two hours and my husband nearly didn`t make it. My first was a lot different, stayed on the hospital bed the whole time (16 hours), in hindsight I would have got moving and hopefully gravity would have helped!!!

Someone told me to scrub floors, but I didn`t have the energy for that at the end but try it if you do.

Good luck with the birth x

You can stay 1 cm dialated for a few weeks. It all depends on your body. I stayed 1 cm for 3 days, went to 2 a day later, then finally at 4 the next day I had my son. So good luck!!!

Your almost there! Try vaccuaming, cleaning house, walking, have sex. I bet you probably wont actually go into labor for another week or 2.
