I read a good one recommended by a counselor. It was called "Love Must Be Tough". Sorry but I cannot recall the author at the moment.

The book that I most recommend to couples is "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus." It's basically "communication between husband and wife for dummies." It's an excellent book. I've never had this happen to any of MY clients but a few of my collegues have had couples that were divorced remarry. If you're going to start somewhere, start with that book. You'll be glad you did.

I don't know about cognitive behavior, but "Fighting for Your Marriage" by Markman, Stanley, and Blumberg is pretty good.
