Absolutely, Though I worry that since he is now just coming into the limelight, alot of people may not be familiar with the Character. Another concern is since some consider him a B tier character they may not give it the seriousness it needs. Dollars over depth. Not enough explosions sort of thing.
Ryan Reynolds would be a great pick! But don't plan on seeing his mug anywhere in the film since Deadpool is horribly disfigured.
Deadpool is probably the most underrated Marvel hero. I believe in 10 years he'll be a top tier comic book character. Perhaps sooner. He should have his own book. Cable is a scrub.

Okay, Deadpool's cool and everything but it is mostly they are going to mess up his character and the roster for the movie like they did X3. For his own safety, let him stay in the comics.

I love Deadpool. I have him as the avatar for my Yahoo IM, and for my computers wallpaper. I think a lot of comic fans take him for granted, but he is one of my faves, plus I love his costume.
