no, she doesn't deserve jail time but she does need
mental evaluation....
we have all been in love at one time or another and thought
of a horrible end for the persons that are breaking our hearts
but we don't do it because we are not crazy.......
so just getting fired from NASA is more than enough but
I think there is more to come with the service she's in, she
is a Captain......maybe demotion

She is still being prosecuted for her actions I do believe. Also, I would not be suprised if there is a civil lawsuit against her. She has probably already getting all sorts of offers from magazines and papers for her to tell her side of the story. I can imagine the victim wanting to make sure this lady is not rewarded in any way for her actions.

She seems to have committed a crime; she needs to face the criminal justice system.
Assault with pepper spray is not the end of the world, but it is a crime.
She probably does need mental health care, but it doesn't look like she is insane. She is capable of dealing with reality. Let her do it.
She may come out of this all right, if she puts her mind to it.

Oh no. She's a celebrity, therefore has an automatic get out of jail free card. Celebrities should never be forced to go to jail or get help for their psychological problems because they are so much better than us ordinary people.

I think they should make sure she gets mental help. She's obviously a little unbalanced and somewhat dangerous, wouldn't you say?
