A clown pleco stays pretty small and would do fine in a 20-30 gallon tank. Just keep in mind that it only comes out at night

Snails are good as well cause they are tiny

None. The only algae eater that will tackle red algae is the Chinese Algae Eater (they don't always do a great job, either) - and they grow into 6 inch long aggressive carnivores.
If you're having red algae problems, I would suggest that you table the cause of the algae and fix your problem there.
If you have live plants (or just a fluorescent light), you can get some fast growing plants like hygrophelia, bacopa, and naja grass; and you could consider adding CO2 to the tank. This will encourage better plant growth, taking nutrients away from algae.

Algae eaters won't eat red algae. You need to deal with the underlying conditions causing the algae, and keep the tank clean so the algae will go away. In general, I would avoid snails: they quickly create a problem of their own because they breed extremely rapidly and can overpopulate the tank in a couple of weeks.

Certain Plecos stay small. There are some dwarf Plecos. But if u want a good algae eater that keeps the tank sparkling, id go with a bushy-nosed Pleco, hard workers. They can get a lil big though.

i have tried algae eaters but i have found they get a bit aggresive in latter life. A clown pleco is good because it stays pretty small and cleans well. Just remeber that it only comes out at night.

I think the only healthy algae that should be in your aquarium is green algae. Any other color means there is a problem, which you need to deal with before getting any more fish.

siamese algae eater is the only one that'll do any good... the rest ignore red algae.

the only thing i can think of is krill which is really hard to find becauser there are almost as tiny as plankton and live in the ocean. sorry if this didn't help you.
