When the entire world agrees to stop driving, live in the hot or cold without ac/heat and we all go back to the way the world was before the industrial revolution. Now remember everybody in the world must agree.

When the last drop of oil is pumped out of the ground. There's no replacement for it. It takes more energy to produce hydrogen than you get back, and biofuels are a fantasy. Making them relies on photosynthesis, which is an almost unbelievably inefficient method of capturing the sun's energy. Plants use chlorophyll because the ingredients are easily available. The ox cart is the pickup truck of the future.
