do you relieve it of the pain or let him suffer so your conscience will be free of guilt?
If a man is suffering and cannot be save, would you relieve him of pain or let him suffer so your conscience will be free of guilt?
If a child is suffering and cannot be save, would you relieve him of pain or let him suffer so your conscience will be free of guilt?

the ethnic thing is a bait, making you think that i'm not thinking on 'your' level.
and let's say, the dog-man-child is dead in 5 minutes or less. But the suffering is mind boggling(as in you can't even imagine that it's possible to be suffered this much, when the shoe's on the other foot), so much that you would try to beg to be kill, but only the scream of pain come out.

Personally, I think God holds the answer when it comes to a suffering man or child. We can make living wills to insure we are hooked up to ventilators, etc. but other than that, I would never take a life. I would do all humanly possible to comfort a suffering individual. When it comes to a sick, suffering dog, I think it is humane to consider a quick, painless injection administered by a loving vet. Often they will allow you to stand by your pets side, and pet him gently and speak words of love and gratitude as he peacefully goed to "sleep." It isn't an easy decision, but sometimes with animals, it becomes a necessary one. No creature or human being should ever suffer needlessly.

You are asking a question on Ethics, not Ethnics.
And what make you think one or the other would relieve us from guilt? Quality of life is a viable thing. I believe in assisted suicide, though for an animal, we must do it for them.
There is hospice, you know, which eases pain until death.

suffering as in 100% sure that they cannot be saved. in all cases i would put him out of his suffering if they asked. in the case of the dog i would do it as well.
EDIT: Blaze its easy for you to say until you are begging the guy standing over you to please un-plug the wire because you have been lying there in extreme pain for a couple weeks now.
It's silly to leave something up to someone we are not sure exists.

I dont think I would kill either of the 3. I would feel like a murderer. I would not be able to handle it.

You are asking a question about euthanasia , I myself do not believe in this , weather it be for an animal or human ! We are not GOD and we should not kill regardless of what is happening.
