Personally i think that any good relationship is built with trust and communication. That doesn't happen overnight , it takes time to develop. But i don't think that you can have a satisfying relationship w/ someone w/o trusting them because if you don't trust them there will always be doubt in your mind about what your partner in doing in the back of your mind about what he/she is doing whenever you are not together. if there are trust issues , its for a reason .. you should go to couples counseling and try to resolve them . You may be able to get by with e/o for awhile , but problems don't go away be ignoring them , they need to be faced head on otherwise they will escalate into larger more serious issues.

It doesn't work out if you have to always feel suspicious.
I trust my husband totally, and know that he trusts me.
He was in the service, and many times, he had to be away while I stayed home and took care of the kids. We would never have survived as a couple if we didn't trust.

Trust is VERY important...just ask my now EX-husband. We were doing fine, then he began to dis-trust me, always accusing me of doing things I never even had time to do. Now, because he cant trust me...he can sleep on his mom's couch! I cannot stress to you how important it is to have trust in your partner. If you think somethings a little off, talk about it. The best two things you'll ever have in a relationship are trust and communication. They support a very strong realtionship. Good luck and be smart..otherwise..you could be sleeping on your mom's couch too!!!

I do trust my husband. But if he ever betrayed my trust he would hurt me so badly that I don't know if I would ever trust him again. You can go on without trust in a relationship, but if you don't trust your partner you won't be happy. You will always be wondering what they're doing and you won't enjoy them fully.

Trust is the foundation to any good relationship. Without it, there's no possible way to survive. I'm saying this with the thought that the other person's actually done something to cause you to distrust them, if not then you just need to deal with your paranoia cuz that's a different issue.

without trust there is no relationship... it will all go to fiddlesticks. I trust my husband with all my heart and he trust me as well... he has female friends and i have male friends we just make sure we introduce each other to them. we know who they are. we dont like hang out hang out like kinda thing all the time with the opposite sex but we talk from time to time. you CANT be together and have it really work if you have no trust. Really.

I know my b/f so well and I trust him so much, and I can't think of us not being able to trust each other that much, otherwise it won't work out well.
your question reminded me of my ex fiance, I broke up with him due to trust issue.
I want to know that my partner is backing me up and dependable, not moody and goes where the wind blows.
