West Indies is a good team no doubt but don't think they will last till the end, look at the bowling attack they have do you really feel it is of International class, I just don't want to give a dark horse tag to WI. In this World cup there is no dark horse, every team is almost at par, the crucial factor will be the slow pitches on which Indian's are far better than any other team that's why so many ex-players are backing India to win the WORLD CUP 2007.

Honestly speaking, I don't think India can win. India is good, but not really so good. They'll be crushed under a tough situation. All this talk of India peaking at the right time is only media hype. In contrast, West Indies stand a good chance. But they'll have to get past Australia and South Africa to lay their hands on the cup.

Yes West Indies are with a vengence, they have dominated the sport for a large perod of time.
Their lack of infrastructure to tend to the professionalism growth pace of the game in the last two decades was one of the major concern.
They have come up and have coped the situation presntly, the country which has a weaker economy depending only on tourism has also shown lot of encourging approach towards the game.
The chances of them winning in their home town is always great, but thre are other eight more on par competitors to negotiate for them in this preocess to gain sucess.

cricket is jus a game one bad shot or one good catch can change the whole game around so yes west indies can win the world cup but pakistan is an unpreditable side u never know when afridi and imran nazir start smacking the ball
