I'd have to go with Blake on this one. They haven't had a beatboxer make it this far before.

Blake Lewis when he SINGS has a very unique voice. I hate his beat boxing though.. I think it turns off a lot voters.... It's a vocal gimmick that he relies on too much. If I were to compare him to anyone it would be a mix of Sting and Harry Connick Jr???
I think Chris Sligh has the most pleasing voice on the show... I also think he will prove to have the most vocal versatility. Song choice will be so important for him. I truly believe he could win IF he chooses Feel good WELL KNOWN CLASSIC songs. He seems to be picking lesser known message type songs. I think he should sing Billy Joel or some MEATLOAF ( I would love to hear him sing I won't do that or Dashboard lights)

Oh yea. Chris Sligh is amazing! I would consider him probably the best of anyone this year. I really like him. I also like Chris Richardson. He's been very good so far, making each song his own. Geek in the Pink was sweet. For the girls,I really Melinda Doolittle. Excellent singer with an excellent voice with an excellent personality.

For the guys - hands down it is Blake. He will go far in the competition
For the girls - Melinda Doolittle. She seems to have that strong voice that can sing any style and puts her own flavor into a song.

most original voice? i think brandon rodgers, and chris sligh of the guys.. of the girls, i think melinda doolittle.. the other girls are very good, but nothing i haven't heard before.

yeah i like blake... he's unique... compared to the other singers... he beatboxes and that catches my attention... and i'm pretty sure he catches a lot of people's attention considering he performs completely different than the other contestants.
