What do you think about Dr. Laura?

Does anyone besides me think she is the most arrogant person on Earth? What about the deal about her mom being found dead after laying there for several weeks? She thinks she is an expert on relationships, yet she totally rejected her own mother. Her mom deserved better. I think Dr. Laura is rude and has a mean streak a mile wide. I wonder if her husband enjoys being married to her, she never talks about him at all, but she worships her son.

Actually Dr. Laura totally rejected her entire family. She was married and a mom when she went to work part time at a radio station doing clerical work. She decided that she wanted her own show but couldn't get anyone there to listen to her. After a year of clerical work she got friendly with her boss who was also married...they went to a convention together and shared a room. They very often "worked late" together and after a couple of months she got her radio talk show right smack dab in the middle of prime radio time. He admitted the affair to his wife who divorced him, Dr. Laura left her husband AND HER KIDS and moved in with her boss. She finally got a divorce from her first husband and got custody of her children who to this day don't like her. (yeah she's her kid's mom alright) The son you speak of is the son from her second husband, whom later divorced her as well, which is why she doesn't speak of him...he had it placed in the divorce that she is never to mention him on her show as he no longer wishes to be affiliated with Dr. Laura...what do I think of her? Not much.

I love Dr. Laura, and am listening to her show right now. She helps people a great deal, and if you are of the mindset that you really want to get to the heart of an issue - that is what she does. Some people find that harsh, but that is often the reality. People usually don't want to face that, though.
