In the UK, all of the shops that sell DVDs don't sell Disney Fantasia, which is Disney's masterpiece! I've looked all over the internet as well. What happened? Why is it not in stock anywhere anymore??

I've been trying to find it for the last few days! I have discovered that it is 'out of print' right now, or whatever the equivalent it for DVDs.
If you really want it, then it is available second-hand from www.amazon.co.uk, but the prices START at £50 (eek). Also, there are always lots of copies on www.ebay.co.uk but, unsurprisingly, they get a lot of bids. I bid once or twice for a copy today, and it was finally sold for about £25.
I think ebay is your best bet, to be honest!

Disney movies have always gone round in circles, being re-released one at a time over and over. You'll see again in a couple of years another Disney movie come out for a 40th anniversary edition, and will only be available for a short time.

The Disney company has some kind of marketing strategy where they lock up the classic movies in what they call "the vault", then they release them maybe every ten years or so. For years I was crazy looking for Cinderella--they only released it about a year ago.

Disney only releases their movies once every 10 years. it is just not the right time in the cycle for it. you might look at your video stores sometimes they will sell old copies.

Disney has this great marketing scheme where they release classics every few years for a limited time. Maybe try Ebay.
