I have exported data to an .ICS (MS Outlook) file and need to convert that to a TXT file. Any freeware that does this?

The data is from an online app, and I save it to ICS, but Outlook won't open it (typical...). Since it is just a back up of my online data, converting it to a TXT file is fine for my needs. Help appreciated.

The ICS file I need to convert is a Microsoft Calendar file -- it is text based

Amber converter is shareware, not free. I am looking for freeware if possible ;-)

Cut / paste is doable, however, there is a lot of text in separate files and it would be very time consuming

Why not just copy the text and paste it into notepad
