Thanks all for the answers. I do not deny global warming, everyone knows its a reality. I however deny that man has created global warming and that is my belief. I will write the report on how I do not think man has caused global warming and I will use some of your information when confirmed as an aid. Thanks all and it will be hard choosing a best answer.

I am supplying a link from National Geographic from just over a week ago. I discusses who Mars is currently undergoing its own global warming and that ours may be related to Mars in that the sun is the culprit. The author goes on to say our actions have some effect, but not the largest. What is also nice is the article mentions how his theory may be flawed. If offers and unbiased look at varrying viewpoints. I would write the report on how we don't n know for sure, and here are reason why, and why not people have caused Global Warming. A report should be about facts, not yours or you teachers personal views. If you write a good well balanced report you teacher will have no option but to give you a good grade.

Does anyone read the question? The question is asking what to do, not whether or not you believe in global warming or not. What I believe doesn't change the fact they still need to write a report and doesn't help answer the question asked.

Do your research carefully. There isn't any proof that humans have caused global warming to this date. Many people will try to prove that humans do cause global warming based on fallacies.

They might say, "You can't prove that humans do not cause global warming." This fallacy is known as "proving a negative," which is a logical impossibility.

Some people might tell you to watch Al Gore's new movie, but that doesn't show any proof of global warming.

When you write your paper, try to prove that global warming is caused by man. Research actual facts from scientists, not from politicians. You'll find it is impossible to prove that humans cause global warming based on objective fact. In conclusion you'll have to point out that the facts show that there is no evidence of mankind causing global warming.

Michael Crichton's book "State of Fear," has some interesting facts about the earth's climate. (There is evidence showing that Antarctica is getting colder, despite what politicians announce.)

Was the ice age a lie too? No it wasn't and global warming isn't a lie either. The only lie is that it's caused by humans. It's a natural occurring event. It goes from global warming to ice age and back. It's seen in the digs and rock formations. They can tell just by looking at the layers of rock.

The whole concept of global warming is a lie. For every piece of evidence that humans are the cause of global warming, there is just a much evidence that we are not to blame. Look at the history of the planet and see that the temperature is always changing and who is to say what the right temperature for the earth is?? it could of been at the prime temperature millions of years ago when humans were not even around. But that people are having a tremendous impact on global warming is a bunch of crap. And another thing. A lot of the things that are passed on for us to do to save the planet do not work. The new light bulbs put out just as much heat, planting more trees sounds good, but will not work for years and years, and the new cars will not reduce global warming and are not as effective as they are set up to be.
But the big issue i have with peole who tell us the proper way to live to save the planet is that they don't practive what they preach. These people live in huge home which take up alot of land, they use more energy then the average person, eat out more, fly more, and travel in larger cars which they tell the average person not to drive. All global warming is to me is a way to keep people living in fear of something so they will be able to pass more and more laws to keep more and more control over people!!!~

The important thing is that you have a view of your own. Just be sure to research your view, and provide statistical or empirical proof that man has had NO contribution to Global Warming. Otherwise, your report is simply unsubstantiated opinion. Not the assignment.

Another interesting tact would be to explain how the American Republicans have turned a global condition into an American political issue.

That's the problem with the education system. Teachers try to teach what they believe other than the facts since most teachers are slanted to the left. I would write a report stating what you believe is the rise of the idea of global warming as opposed to the causes of it as asked by the teacher.

Are you saying it's a lie because you have researched it and have come to that conclusion? Or are you saying that because you've heard other people say it?
If you haven't done any reading on it yourself then I suggest doing that. You're opinion may or may not change but either way understanding the issue / debate will help you in writing the paper.

Blame the very things liberals and Greenies love! Get a report on Bycycle production facilites and how much they pollute. Report on the Very Toxic Batteries used in The Toyota Prius and how fire fighters have to get special training for when they are on fire. And How do we despose of them! Then go over how much pollution is caused by production of medicine and how if we discontinued making it for Africa we could save Billions of tons of Pollution. Then Hit Hollywood do you know how much oil film uses to produce! How about when they Blow things up Like in Blood Diamond!!!

Research your paper, and write on this thesis. If the teach grades you down on this account, file a complaint for political discrimination, with the school board, citing suppression of free speech.
