Just because they realize the mistakes they've made in a previous relationship, that doesn't mean they'll face the same challenges in a new relationship. People are different, they have different attitides and different problems that they deal with differently. Getting divorced only means they weren't willing to stick it out when things got tough. Sure, there are plenty of valid reasons to get divorced, but most people these days like to take the easy way out. that doesn't make them a better lover, that just makes them more selfish and more likely to divorce again.

That totally depends on the person. Say a man (or a woman) is a horribly abusive person and the woman (or man) finally gets fed up with it and divorces their spouse. The one may be more careful about their furture relationships, now knowing the signs of abuse, but the other may not want to change or even see that they are abusive. Then again, some people do learn what they did wrong and what they did right. It couldn't apply to everyone.

To all the answerer's who seem to think that if you've been divorced you can't make it work again you're wrong. Most people that have been divorced are very cautious before they get involved again. My fiance and i both say divorced people do make better lovers.

No, they don't know how to make a marriage work. If they did, they'd still be married. I think people who are divorced make lousy lovers.

i don't think so. honestly, people don't change. and it may have been their fault that they got divorced. it could be a character flaw.
but then again, i don't really think it matters as long as it is the right person that we are talking about. divorced or not, it makes no difference as long as they are willing to make THIS relationship work.

i think it depends on the person.... on pone side of it they may come with a LOT of extra baggage- on the other side... they would have a better sence of themselves and what marriage really means...
