They are both awesome singers - but as far as total package - the making of a star - I'd pick Melinda. She has a unique humility that is very endearing. Lakisha doesn't show much personality outside of her performance. When the judges talk to her she seems to just stand there with a blank look on her face. Melinda always looks so stunned and grateful for the raves she gets. I like watching her much better.

Lakisha was in controll in the beginning but Doolittle stepped up.
Like i heard on an early morning radio show this morning Jones grew up sinigin in a church and that's how she sounds with that kinda emotion.....Doolittle has been in the industry as a backup singing er is takin' it to the next level cause she knows what it takes to be a star!
Doolittle has it.

I think Melinda is better, with Lakisha a very close second. The rest dont even come close to the talent those two have.

Melinda is a GREAT singer and has a great personality. I think she has a more universal appeal than LaKisha, but I bet they'll both end up with record deals.

they both do, I think Lakisha is great for not having the training and experience that Melinda has. Melinda has the background and training and experience so for me it is not surprising that she is doing so well. She doesn't need to win to go far....she will weather or not she wins, so I would like the win to go to Lakisha.

They are both pretty terrific.....I like Lakisha a little better. But Stephanie is also pretty good. And I also thought Gina was good last night too.......Those are the 4 to beat...

I think both but Belinda has the audience and Simon with her modesty. I believe that she can't believe that she's this good. I love her for that. Lakisha is good but that somment about the clothes last week could have gotten her minus points.

They are both great but I think since Lakisha is a single mother just like Fantasia it might hold her back since they switch up the winner each year.

I think both are extraordinary. I prefer Melinda though. I think she's such a great person. She seems very humble and very appreciative for her opportunity. Not to mention that she has an amazing voice! It blows me away.
