Actually there are nothing called baby names. it is simply a directory of names for males and females. No baby ever stays baby with a name!!!
If one wants a good name for his/her baby, would like to see some names. We do not name adults. Hnce, to make searching easy, Baby names, has been coined.

You are very right! But why would you be looking for a name for an adult? I guess they are just trying to get their point across faster instead of saying "I am having a baby and need something to name it" they say "I need a baby name"

No. No one names themselves or another adult, unless of course you are having an identity crisis and want to change your name or are forced to because you are in a witness protection programme!

LOL. That's a great point. I can't believe I have never heard that before. Wish I knew, I guess their whole life is about "baby" everything at that point.
