You're alone, in front of a burning building(either you accidentally start the fire or not), a child is trap under some beam and is definately going to die. You have a gun and you can put a bullet in between the eyes of a flea 90 yard away(i.e. instantaneous death/humane put down with no pain to a person if you chose to do so). Do you put the child out of his misery, or not? (no repercussion from the law, whatsoever.)

(I wouldn't, life is suffering, and the child haven't suffer enough)

It was originally a man, but then some people would do it in a heart beat, so a child would make you reconsider.

I hate this question because as a parent it is painful to think about. I have no idea what I would do until I was faced with making the decision in that moment.

That's an awful, awful question. Anyone who wants a child to suffer should get some help.

No way, I have a 6 month old son and I couldn't even think of something like that happening. If anyone here says yes, they are nuts....

That is a horrible disgusting question. Why would anyone even think to ask that?! In the eyes of the law that is murder. Because you had time to even think about it, it is 1st degree murder.

I'd at least call 911 and try to lift the beam. My god I could never kill a child.

No. Unless it was a case of self defense, I just couldn't kill anyone. I can't be a murderer.

Why would you even sit and ponder this? Thinking about killing a child makes me want to puke. I hardly view it as a recreational activity.
