Dont know what kind of car you own, how old it is and how many miles are on it, but replacing a transmission is expensive. If you have a high mileage or older car, then it may not be worth the trouble of buying a new transmission. Jasper and Ready Built are both expensive units.
You can try www.autozone.com. They sell rebuilt transmissions and engines at a decent price. i know of someone who bought one from auto zone and have had it in the car fpr more than 2 years with no problems.
If you want yours repaired, tried aamco transmissions and get at least an estimate of the repair.
When was the last time your transmission was serviced?
