Duramax Diesel 2002 Chevrolet 2500

Started the truck this morning, ran for two minutes then died. Has power, turns over and is not giving me any computer codes. No dead fuses either.

A red wire ontop the fuel filter had come undone so I plugged back in. Still won't run.

I have a feeling that the truck won't run because of something to do with the Fuel Filter, any ideas or common problems? Thnks.

There must be an air buble in the fuel system.
It has to be bled.

probably have a bad fuel pump. If the pump is external you can check it for power going to and from the pump. If it is located in the tank, try tapping on the tank with a wooden object a few times. Sometimes the vibration will kick start the pump temporarily. If this works, replace the pump.
good luck.....

im not really sure, but when the red wire came off, it could have messed with the computer, so you might try reseting the computer. or you might be able to reset the fuel pump. just roll the truck down a hill and call the insurance company
