George Reeves in the 50's--Unknown.
Superboy in 1988-- Public debut in costume
Lois and Clark in 1993--Metropolis & secret ID, meets Lois
Smallville in 2001--Clark meets Lex, realizes his powers are Superhuman and that he's an alien
WB Animated Series in 1997-Arrival in Metropolis, meets Lois

In most, the pilot/first ep. details his back story, and his arrival in Metropolis, and the adoption of the Super ID. it all depends on the length, and if they have a multi ep. story line
