It can be described by the absolute or the relative location.

Absolute- you use latitude and longitude to pinpoint the exact spot where the place is located. Address can also be an absolute location.

Relative- you describe how the location is in relation to a nearby place. Most people use this way to show directions. For example, "the restaurant is across the street from the parking lot".
