I have already written a commerical for a bogus movie rental thing, and I have written a really funny cereal commerical. I want the commericals to be funny, and they don't have to make and sense if you don't want them to. We will use your commerical, and we will put your name in the credits of our movie. This can be a short commerical, no longer that a minute or two. Thank you so much in advance!

A few years ago a friend of mine and I had a local access comedy show called "Talk Show" where we made up a few silly episodes. One was an interview with a guy promoting his medical facility for people who liked to watch books fall, called the V.B.C.D.E.F.G.H.I.J. (the Voyeuristic BiblioClasm Disease Ended For Good House In Jersey). I'm sure we could come up with a commercial for that.

How about a PSA for Sudoku Anonymous?

An ad for a local nudist colony -- in Alaska?

Those late night phone sex ads, only with men.

e-Disharmony.

You could do a 15-second commercial soliciting ideas for 15-second commercials.

Mystbusters? Ad for a Discovery Channel show where two goofy guys dispell theories on how to solve the Myst game.

CSI Cleveland Heights (2005 murder rate: 0.0, so the detectives have nothing to do) or CSI Sicily (all the deaths somehow turn out to be from natural causes)

Ad for a remarkable new product. Use all the hyperbole, a Billy Mays voice, slammin' graphics, but never show what the new product is.

For that matter, use a character in an ad named "Jilly Mays" who only whispers all the time. (If you don't know, Billy Mays is a spokesperson with a loud voice who practically screams all through his commercials.)

And I hate those financial company commercials with Sam Waterston where he's not looking at the camera in some of the shots. Probably the next new wave in ad styles, but I hate it. I'd love to parody one of those.

So yeah, I'm full of ideas. Let me know if any interest you and I could write up something. I'll have to know what your limitations are as far as set and crew. Also, the context of how these ads would fit into your movie. E-mail me if you want to talk.
