I signed to go active duty, is it too late to go reserves, or do i have a right to change my mind? better yet they didnt even make me swear in can i say i dont want to go?

No, as long as you are not sworn in you are not contracted in. When my husband reenlisted he had to be sworn in, so for a few minutes he was a civilian again.
Good luck. By the way, there are more reserves in Iraq than active duty. Just do your time and get the benefits.

You have a window of opportunity to back out of a military contract. Just call your recruiter and explain why. Be open and honest and tell them you are serious about your position. Hope this helps.

No, you can even ask for outs at boot camp. I went through the same thing. But I ultimately decided to stay in. Just tell them you are changing your mind and put your foot down. Don't let them try to talk you out of it... you got nothing to lose.

If you are not sworn in then you have not commited to going. I have seen people back out even after the fact, when they are in the Delayed Entry Program.
