Take it in and get it serviced. Sounds like the CPU fan has failed, or there might have been issues with the thermal gel that is between the CPU fan and the CPU.

You have to believe it if it says that. The info comes from a built-in thermal sensor designed to keep the electronics from burning up.
Most likely reasons are that your fan is not turning or that it is jammed up with lint or dust. Shut off your computer. Turn it around so you can see what is doing with the fan. Try using a pencil to turn it by hand. Look for crud blocking the air openings. Vacuum it away if you see that. Turn the computer on and see if the fan spins well and is moving a lot of air. Listen to whether it makes screechy sounds from its bearings. If the fan is the problem you might need to buy a new power supply since the fans tend to be inside them. There may also be a fan on the top of the CPU that is visible if you open the computer. That should turn well while the computer is on.
If nothing obvious is wrong bring it to Circuit City which has a free computer checkup offer.

Desktop Computer:
1) Open the case
2) Turn the computer on
3) Look to see if the CPU fan is turning
4) Look at the power supply fan is turning
5) Check all of the vents to see if they have become blocked
If the CPU or PS Fan doesn't turn, get new ones and install them. If the vents are clogged, vacuum them.
Laptop:
Check the vents from the outside. If they are clogged, vacuum them.
Get a chill mat
OR
Take it to a repair shop.

properly, ask your self this, what form of computing gadget is it? laptop or laptop? If the computing gadget is a computer, you have gotten too plenty hardware in it (e.g. videocards, not undemanding drives) and it somewhat is inflicting too plenty warmth. if it somewhat is the case, see in case you may do away with many of the stuff or in Hardware profiles, set the overall performance to generic. in spite of if, I doubt it somewhat is the case provided that computers regularly have plenty room of their towers and has outstanding air flow, if worst comprises worst open the case up. If even this doesnt artwork, honestly take it to get appeared at, no laptop tower could get that warm. in case your computing gadget is a computer, this subject is in many situations seen, somewhat in new computers with quicker processors (each and every thing pentium 4 and above aside from Centrino). it somewhat is simply by fact the processor is growing to be plenty warmth because it operates that the small cooling fan cant permit loose each and all the warmth. to restoration this, you would be able to could desire to purchase a cooling fan dock. those are fairly low value ($30 US or so) and could be modern-day in important digital shops. those followers are placed under the laptop and help cool down the device.

Hi. A quick dusting of the heat sink and fans may help. At least it's free!

It is probably full of dust...you'd be amazed at how must dust can get inside the pc unit. Put a vacuum cleaner round the vents to clear any dust.
We had this problem...thought our computer had died! But it's okay now.
Hope that helps

Your computer must be real hot. I would check to see if there is any dust build up, if there is clean it up. And if that doesn't work something is wrong with your fans and they may have to be replaced.

See if there is a fan problem--you might be able to fix that yourself. Otherwise, you'll probably want to take it to a pro.
