1983 Lebanon- the Marine corp barracks was bombed. The President of the U.S. placed marines inside the airport to keep peace. The marines had been at the bombed barracks recovering and removing the bodies of their fellow Marines. When they were deployed to guard the airport they were told to keep the peace, then they had to give up all of their ammunition. The UN and the President didn't think that it would be appropriate for them to be able to protect themselves. I would consider that troop-president conflict.
