Being a heathen, I haven't studied many religious texts, but I most certainly would not be opposed to understanding what drives certain enemies to the lengths that they go to.
But understanding and education sound foreign to you.

Actually, I did take four semesters of French in college, though I'm a bit rusty at it now. I also own a copy of the Qu'ran, which I plan to study some time in the near future. You might want to try learning about other religions and cultures. It'll open your mind!
