Any computer wiz out there that can have an idea of what is wrong.

A few days ago I received a legitimate email from my financial institution that I am sure is legitimate and not spam. I get those frequently and they do not come with an attachment of any kind. the problem is that after I received the email, the same email keeps getting to me in outlook, every time that press send and receive. I am still getting all other emails but this same email keeps arriving. ANy idea of how to fix this? I already did a scan with Norton and nothing comes up. Thanks so much.

It is definitely spam since it is an email confirming something I had requested a few minutes before directly from their website, so spam is definitely out.

It's SPAM. Don't open it, but if you want better e-mail protection stop using outlook and switch to something like yahoo and hotmail, they are more secured. I learned this in my computer courses at the college I attend.

No that is not a virus.
It is most likely a simple fault with outlook that should resolve it's self soon. Sadly I have very limited experience with outlook as I pass with technical help using Microsoft Office i.e Excel and Word and PowerPoint.

I advise that you scan for spyware.
You can also block the email in email options if it still persists.

It could of course be fake as well so look for basic signs that it is not real.

Contact the financial instution and inform them their email program is doing this. This has happened a couple of times with my bank. Their email programs are set to get a notice that you received the email when you open it. There must be a glitch and it didn't get the confirmation. The program keeps sending it to ensure you get the information you need.

It sounds like this email is stuck in the server and it keeps on sending it over and over. You can call your ISP and ask them to check the server and remove that message. Sometimes they'll do it - it depends on how big they are and how much mail there is to find. All you can do is ask!
