You can't get rid of hemorroids once you get them, unless you have surgery to remove them. If they are still so swollen as to cause bleeding you can try to increase the fiber content of your diet to reduce the amount of pushing needed to have a bowel movement and treat them with tucks pads or other hemorroid cream to shrink the hemorroid. If those don't work, see your Gyn to get some help.

Definately see a family doctor. I had a horrible hemorroid after my 3rd pregnancy. My doctor prescribed a prescription suppository with hydrocortisone. It worked great, and shrunk the hemorroid. In my experience, stool softeners never worked for me. And all those over the counter creams, medications don't work at all. One thing that helps alot is fiber drink like metamucil.

I had hemorroids until about eight or nine months after my son was born. If they are bleeding or very painful, you may want to see your family doctor for medications or consultation on other options. Good luck!

You would go see your family Doctor. If he feels that A Gyno needs to look at them, than he will refer you! You will bleed for a while. I had bad hemorrhoids after pregnancy. You should try stool softeners, They helped me a lot!

let prepration H be your best friend and tucks wipe yourself clean everytime you use the bathroom #1 or 2 then whip with tucks and use prepration H as often as u can until its all clear i had some after my baby, the hospital told me to do this before i left from having my baby. they cleared up in 4-5 days...if there really painful in the meantime try a sitsbath ( i think i spelled it right) basicly soak in warm/hot water.

either doctor will help you but they will probably refer you to another doctor for surgery if you choose to get rid of them.....some doctors dont recommend you to have surgery til you are done having children cause they can come back and they might flare up with other pregnancies....they are aggravating...dont sit in one spot for long periods of time, watch constipation with stool softeners, watch sitting on cold seats, use medicines for this problem and most people who have them external will probably have them internal too
