I asked a question the other day about her and people jumped all over me about her being intelligent and "better than that she-male Hilary." How is she contributing to society when she is just spewing negativity? I can't imagine Cornell West or Albert Einstein casting such negative comments on someone who didn't agree with them. However, I can imagine the things Adolph Hitler might have said. Being conservative or being liberal shouldn't cause so much negativity to pass. What's the beef? Why can't a factual discussion without name calling and nasty polarizing comments? We agree to disagree but don't call me names.

Her job, like most any media person is to spark anger and contempt, the more you hate them the more you watch, the more you watch, the more Pain Away! gets sold. That is media 101. She may have no beef at all, but she is paid to make controversial statements that raise the ire or interests of the viewers, and it works.
I turn those talking heads off, I do not allow a person that is paid to make me mad, upset me. The more you discuss the lunatic fringe the more you will hear of them, it is simple math.
Do not become like them and you win, lower yourself to their standards and instill or stir up anger, they win.
Choice to be Free from talking empty heads is ours, it always

So the real issue is not whether John and Bill are fags or not but rather the name calling. Ann Coulter is not an Einstein but then again I am sure she doesn't wet her pants either as Einstein did on occasion. The women has the right and privledge to say what she wants in this country about any personallity. By the way don't both of these gentleman from time to time act as she suggested? Not that there is anything wrong about that! and also by the way get a thicker skin 'cause it's just startin' up.

Wow, i don't be responsive to if i've got ever seen a greater vicious and bitter person than Ann Coulter. If she is appeared to as a ethical beacon by using the terrific suited, then they are closer to the social gathering of Musollini than I even predicted.

The punchline was to bring to the forefront that political correctness has gone a muck and the use of ***** would send you to counseling as if it were some great sin. Being a conservative speech, a liberal had to be the brunt of the joke.

I understood the humor. I did not particularly think it was funny. I think her statement was taken out of context. I think she was trying to call him a wuss, but the problem with slang is that it does not always mean the same in one region as it does in another. A fag is a cigarette.

Liberals are notorious for their ad hominem attacks. Bill Maher suggests we would be better off if the Vice President were dead and you laugh in gleeful agreement. President Bush is called stupid, war criminal, hypocritical, and more and you nod vacuously as if these are other than slurs.

I don't agree with Ann Coulter's demeaning rhetoric. It's difficult to hear her message when she is speaking from the gutter. But don't be so blind to the truth that you think name calling is okay for liberals and deplorable for conservatives.

Wow, looks like someone directly above me hates Christians. Ah do declay-uh...

Where was your faux outrage when Bill Mahar said that it was too bad the bomber missed Dick Cheney in Afghanistan last week? That managed to vanish from the so-called mainstream press in a day.

Remember, "I don't have to like what you say, but I defend to the death your right to say it." You may not agree with Coulter, but she does have the right to say what she believes.

Also, I do not believe she thinks Edwards is gay, just effeminate... the "f@g" term is often used to describe someone who is an effeminate prettyboy.

Compare to Edwards and Clinton Ann is an intellecutual.

My how thin skin liberals are they seem to have no problem wtih attack ads against conservatives but if dares to say anything back.

People like you lose their cookies and protests abound.

Another case of liberals dishing it out but can't take it.

Free Speech it is for everyone.

i for one had no idea who this woman was until her story on the news and that might be the whole reason for her saying those things her ratings must not have been to high,to be called a intellectual would mean to me that she was very bright but then she tried to make a point by using tactics that can be found on any schoolyard name calling.i still don't know who she is but now i know i don't want to know shes just another news-bite junkie.

There are some good conservative pundits out there, but Coulter isn't one of them. She's just a rabble-rouser and an entertainer--her writing defies logic and appeals to emotion. She just wants to get people upset at liberals, and bends the truth to make a good article. (One liberal said this, so all those liberals are crazy is about all you'll get out of her.)

I watch and listen with interest and curiosity.
It looks to me as if the meaning of "the other f-word" is changing, and Coulter wants to be part of it. Obviously she doesn't think these guys are homosexual. (Besides, homosexual men I can be very macho...) Does she mean "effeminate" or "wimpy"? (She herself apparently doesn't want to be taken for effeminate!)
I agree, it's rude to call names; but she's not the first to do it, and the left is at least as guilty as the right....
