yes, i am pregnant and just had 2 eggs. Tonight i am having a pizza and since i won't be having any meat, fish or chicken i had the eggs. Eggs are full of protein and iron. they are very good for you. Just don't over do it. i eat between 3 to 4 eggs a week. Also make sure they are cooked very well. I boil them for 20 minutes to be on the safe side. If in any case you see the yolk is still runny don't eat it. Also don't eat eggs from parties of cold eggs left in the fridge. They must be hard eggs and hot. And make sure they are fresh. When you boil the egg and the yolk is at the bottom of the egg, that means that the egg is not fresh. Other eggs like those found in cakes and biscuits are safe because they are cooked.
Also don't eat mayonnaise that is made from raw eggs. Always read the labels and check that they are pasteurized.
Good luck with your pregnancy.

it's not silly at all!! you can have scrambled or hard boiled eggs.just dont make sunny side up, over easy type eggs. no raw seafood, raw eggs, raw meat. just on the off chance you develop a food allergy. women have hurt their unborn babies by eating contaminated food that was suppose to be fully cooked, so it's a general rule dont eat anything you definitly know isnt' cooked all the way. also avoid fresh water seafood. lobster was okay but catfish wasnt....i think my doctor said, if it's from a lake or river dont eat it. you dont know what tides are like and it takes alot of testing to bann seafood because of red tide. so stick to salt water seafood. good luck!

You can have eggs while pregnant with no issue. You might get nausea from eating them (or any other food). My wife loved egg sandwiches with lots of pepper and when she got pregnant that lasted about 2 months before she couldn't stomach them anymore, but they pose no danger otherwise.

Yes, and while there is an incredibly SMALL risk of salmonella from eating runny eggs you can eat runny eggs too.

Salmonella does not cross the placenta, though it might make you ill. Like I said the chances are incredibly small.

i think of this is wonderful. this is mushy-boiled eggs or uncooked eggs which you extremely choose for to stay removed from. i replaced into 9 months pregnant at Christmas time while my aunt made selfmade egg nog with a dozen uncooked eggs in it. Ahh!! i did no longer have any.

Yes, you can eat eggs, just make sure they are fully cooked...but that should go for all, pregnant or not.
