before i watched the movie i was saying Jim Carey in a scary movie..........no way! not a good match. as i watch the movie and fell asleep and woke up to the movie i thought it was awful!!! i can not picture Jim Carey without being funny. i think he, too, cannot picture himself that way as well. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I thought the movie was great, but I have to agree Jim Carrey was probably not the best. I think he needs to do more dark movies that haven't got humour in them. It's hard to take him seriously when he's always cracking jokes

I think it was awful. I was really disappointed. I thought Jim Carrey was a bad choice to play that role. Like someone said before, he is always so goofy/funny and it is hard to take him seriously at times. He was better in The Truman Show. I thought the plot line dragged on and on (maybe I'm just impatient but.........damn!) I was expecting more suspense, thrills and chills. It just seemed weak to me.

I saw it last weekend. i liked it, but i don't think that jim carey was the best cast for it. it was pretty good though, the ending was pretty interesting.
