Does it make you leery to answer questions in a certain way?

2007-03-08 03:55:22 · 25 answers · asked by Alexandriagal 6 in Entertainment & Music Polls & Surveys

When I said "issues", I was not trying to be judgemental or hurtful. Everyone has issues, but I was refering to the type of issues which would make answering certain questions uncomfortable.
Wow, lighten up! I was not attempting to hurt anyone's feelings.

LOL, I actually have answered some questions more gently than I would have liked to for that very reason. You never know how serious some people take this nonsense, and what might push them over the edge. Thats why I like polls and surveys-for the most part, its all just silly humor. Some of the other catagories ask some really deep stuff!

I am not leery about answering questions. But YES there are some people on here with huge issues, and a lot of lier. Sometimes I will read a question and then look at some of the other questions that person has asked and you can tell they are total lier. I could really care less though. I just think it is funny and I'm just here to pass the times and have a laugh and maybe help a couple people out with advise on things I have been through.

Gee...you really *think so*?? I would have *never* guessed, like OMG....

(ends fit of sarcasm)

Yes, there are people here with problems. I admit to being one of them (almost to my own detriment, I admit). And if I spot someone with problems like my own, and I *know* I am not in a mood to give a serious, thoughtful and respectful answer, I won't answer the question. It's that simple. The idea is to not do further harm whenever it's possible to avoid it. If you can't be helpful, move on and find a Question where you *can* be helpful.

Plain old common sense and manners in other words. ^_^

Pity the trolls and bots and scum have to ruin it for the rest of us, huh?

Edit: Sorry, didn't mean to be *so* repetitive and redundant here. I don't think my feelings were hurt, so much as I tried too hard to make myself clear.

Ahh, but what do I know? I'm not a specialist, not a "Top Contributor" according to Yahell....never mind that the haters give me Thumbs-downs and report me on any Question I ask.

I'm a Nobody, in other words. And a lot of people feel this way. It isn't so rare. It isn't so difficult to relate to *that* is it, even if the bitterness and anger that comes with that territory is off-putting? Surely everyone has their days where they feel like a Nobody.

Work from that when you have Someone With Problems (tm) to deal with. Try some honesty and some *compassion*. You never know, it might work.

But that's enough out of me...thanks for your time. ^_^ Take care and stay safe.

Well we all have issues. Many of us have severe issues but just because someone does have severe issues doesn't make me feel like I have to answer or respond to them in a different way. We're all people... we're all a little nuts believe it or not.

I think everyone on here has severe issues, but that's what makes it one big happy family

That's why I stay on P&S or Singles and Dating mostly. I wouldn't want to give an absolute stranger any serious advice..

I know a few in "real life" and I know they have issues, they are friends with me! If that isn't screwed up, I don't know what is!!!
