Is there something that be put on walls to prevent them from getting damaged when moving furniture?

I have used cardboard taped to doors and vulnerable corners and cabinets. Use blue painters tape to hold it in place. It won't remove other surfaces when removed. Watch for staples in cardboard.

Maybe not something on the walls, but what I did was cover my furniture in a blanket and that way if it happened to hit the wall the blanket would cushion the hit and no marks were left on the walls.

You can put rubber on the edges of your furniture to prevent them from scratching the walls.

Usually the movers wrap the furniture itself in quilted pads that protect not only the furniture but the walls ...and they are very good, moving men are!!!!

You are required by your lease to have the carpets steamed clean and wipe down all fingerprints. All you can do is provide photos that you did that and sue in court
