would like to know how long it takes a watermelon seed to germinate

...provided you have the soft dirt on a mound to plant them in and provided that the "Rabbits" in the neighborhood haven't eaten them already.. or the Raccoons... with adiquate waterings and sun... ":they" should appear in about 25 to 30 days... a flower will show up and begin to grow... unless the "beasts" eat'um up...

According to this book that I am currently reading at 68F, it'll take 8 days, at 77F it'll take 4 days, and at 86F it'll take 3 days. These is indoor setting. In outdoor setting, it'll take two weeks, basing you planted them two weeks after the last spring frost.
