yes, Judging from a lot of the responses on here, people cannot think anymore. It seems that more and more people are responding to emotionally charged arguments that have little basis in fact without looking at the other options. It also seems that more and more people are 'drinking the koolaid' so to speak. these people on any side refuse to think for themselves on one particular issue and instead parrot what many others have said with no original thought going into the post at all. you get too many answers to a question that show no reasoning, and when someone does use reasoning to answer but does not echo the popular opinion, they get thumbs down and people who answer later use more factless, emotional arguments to counter the answer that was logically constructed, to the point where many a good answer has an edit or little tag at the bottom saying something along the lines of "thumbs down don't change anything, bring 'em on" or similar.
But according to those people, I don't know anything. so bring on the Thumbs down.

Actually, yes it does. I see a lot of bashing and name-calling on here (from both sides), but when you try to inject some humor into a question, you get reported. Are people soooo deep into the blame-game that you can't try to lighten things up a bit(and I don't mean at someone else's expense)?

Yahoo Answers can't think, therefore is powerless. Only an individual is capable of thinking. When people sacrifice there mind to a collective, that determines the end of humanity.

Now? Certainly. All the accusations of point-gaming (whatever the hell that is - not like I get paid for my points, so who cares?), personal attacks on people constantly, it's just insane.
The worst part, in my opinion, is the large number of ranters on here who lack basic English skills. Poor spelling, horrible grammar....doesn't give me a lot of hope for our future.

Negative. It enforces it. The majority of people think with their emotions, not logic. Answers only amplifies it so logical people can hear it. IOW, morons will be morons, regardless of the medium.

Some of the people on this site truly are some of the most mixed up and disturbed individuals I have ever come across but, there are some awesome, intelligent, caring people who make up for the bad ones deary.

Not really. I realize this is but a small cross-section of society and is attractive to those who wish to shout with no consequence. And attractive to those that wish to help.
Take Care.
