no there is not. XBOX does not have a internal battery so when the power goes out or you unplug it (removing its only power source) it is going to remove the basic saved information such as clock date and time.

we are able to save games and such because it is on a memory card that saves something at a flash point in time. it does not require power to keep this frozen saved information.

when i move my xbox 360 from room to room i always have to reset. but when it is just in one room, i dont have to bother.

same thing happend to my computer then the battery for the time&date ran out of power. Still havent replaced it sow now everytime i switch it off at the mains i have to set the time and dte again. The 360 has no lithium battery.

yes.. get a ps3.. that keeps the time.. just got myne yesterday
