It's way different, so i like it. And if you like it, that's all that really matters.

A middle name, perhaps, but I wouldn't go for a full first name. Kovu, you may or may not know, was a character in Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. It's a fine lion's name, I think, but it sounds awkward when you yell it (see the video in my sources if you've never seen the movie) so if you foresee yourself having to yell at your kid a lot....^_^ It all depends on the full name, though. I'm sure there are lots of combinations you could go with that would make it work well. Overall it's not bad but try to think of the poor kid being teased for having the same name as a Disney character.

Please keep in mind, even if you like the sound of this name that it'll be an entirely different business when your child starts school. Life is tough enough for us all growing up, never mind being saddled with a strange name. If you really like this name, try using a more traditional sounding first name and use Kovu as a middle name. Just a suggestion.

its really a unique name but you don't want the baby to grow up and be teased. of course he will be teased all kids are, but if you can help minimize that factor in his life then do so, children can be so cruel.also when he becomes an adult you don't want a job to look down on him because of his name,b/c there has been personal experiences in which an employer will look at the name and judge him,the wont even give him a chance to show what he is capable of

this isn't A family members tree question. family members tree is the study of direct ancestral lineage interior organic and organic households. It has no longer something to do with call adjustments. IF the guy who you talk over with as you Dad isn't your organic and organic parent you're properly desirable you're literally not related to him or his aspect of the family members. usually even as a guy's surname is his moms maiden call is often exhibits that he became born out of wedlock, it may be unusual yet no longer particular strange, it is a legal issue you want to confer with an legal professional,

I think that the more times that you say it, the name grows on you. I wouldn't name my baby that, but each to there own. My friend named her baby "KuYa". At first is sound weird, but as time goes on it really suites her. I would like to now if it has a meaning.

Just remember that your child is going to have their name for the rest of their life, so you should pick something you think will grow with them, will adapt to changing times and it's something THEY are not going to hate when they are old enough to understand.

Personally, I wouldn't name a child that. Maybe a dog...

Reminds me of Kazoo from the Hannah-Barbarra coartoons. He was the little alien that was on the Jetsons and briefly on the Flintstones.
