Personal Property. Please any info would help!?

Question

Ok. My dad died when i was 9. My parents were split up and i saw him 2days a week. The house he lived in was his but in his girlfriends name b/c of bad credit. When he died my mom moved and of course i did too. I have no contact with his ex-girlfriend w/e you wanna call her cuz i blame his death on her. But all pictures of me and my dad and everything were in that house. How do i go about getting whats mine back?? Thanks in advance.

Probly the only person who has that stuff is your dad's ex. Ask her nicely.

I am sorry for your loss, your dad and sentimental valuables. I wonder how you can put blame on one individual for any person's death. I suppose in your perception, as probably supported by your mom who might be bitter about the divorce, you think it was his girlfriend's fault. That is a grief that would be better worked out for your health in the future. I suggest you look at my profile and discern the religious questions I have answerd and asked and come to a new outlook on your religion or belief systems. If I were you, and did that and understood what I am telling you, I would contact the girlfriend, and be nice about it ...and perhaps she may let you copy the pictures..you could scan them into a computer and save the ones you like. You must miss your dad very much. I am glad you felt loved at least some time in your life and I think you deserve to approach this situation with the grace of your father as he is in heaven. Remember...after you look at my profile.....that in heaven.....we are in a perceived state or total forgiveness of others, being completely aware of all circumstances, the whole picture, and that is where your father is right now. You just need to imagine him there that way. So even if his girlfriend did something that caused his death, she is forgiven by him. When you can open your mind to that, you will see your father even more beautiful than he was on earth and you will be of greater works than he did that you admired on earth.
