I have a 2006 Sonata LX with Auto Climate control, when it first comes on, the Defroster (front) comes on. After about five minutes it will switch to heat or heat/defrost. Is this normal ?
I have had other vehicles with auto climate and the defrost has to be activated by the driver or it doesn't come on.

It may do it because of the temperature. I'd be surprised if there isn't something in the owner's manual on it.
