I think I know what you are on about, that thing in the news about the police punching that drunk lady, no its not ok and they know that, they are taught surely, how to restrain people properly and I wouldn't of thought it would include punching the suspect. If that camera hadn't been there we would have probably never found out which is scary because who knows what else goes on.

No! Never punch her! Walk out the door. Call the police and press charges against her if you must. I have known men who have had to call the police. It would be a domestic fight if you hit her back and with you being stronger if you hit her you'd be blamed. You could hurt her a lot worse than she can you. I am in no way taking her side. I'm on your side. No one deserves to be hit.

I guess you could hit her to get her off of you but basically, physical violence is not a good thing on either side. I would suggest you walk away & let her sober up so no one gets hurt.And then it depends on what state you are in. My brothers' wife was slapping him & so he pushed her away & she fell & got a small cut on her arm. She called the police & they arrested him for assault & battery. Now he has a record.

can i just say PamelaV that man can be subjected to domestic violence and in my opion i think its worse, when you hear of a woman hitting a man most people brush it off by thinking "its only a woman she couldnt do any damage really" but the reality is different ! men find it harder to talk about these things there fore all domestic abuse should be addressed seriously ! and to answer your question if a woman does come home and slap you silly you should pack her stuff and sling her out i wouldnt lower your standerds by hitting back !

only time me and the dragon ever 'fought'....i lost as i would not really hit back (except once, after a whisky binge but thats a different story)
as men, we are brought up not to hit women, but sometimes they can wind you up in such a way....well, you forget they are women.
if a woman decided to have a pop at me then i would try to walk away, having done so a few times over the years i know i can do it.
on the other hand if she decides that this gives her a free hand to keep hitting and hitting then i will retalliate.
the police were restraining a criminal ffs.

if my wife came in drunk and started to slap me silly then IVE ALREADY MADE THE WRONG CHOICE!!!. you can't go around hitting women what ever the circumstance's are

Hell no u can't hit her,but call the law and report that she is hitting u,cause there is a lot of men that gets abused just like women do.
