Well clearly Iraq is in a WORSE position than it was when Saddam was in power - there certainly wasn't a civil war and involvement of other countries.
You have to remember that almost EVERY democracy that has been forced, has failed. Revolution MUST take place from WITHIN and not be IMPOSED by an outsider. The results clearly show that the US did not fully understand Iraq and the competing factions.
My last point, as someone who voted Democrat in the last two elections - Republicans alone are not to blame. Some Democratic politicians voted FOR the war, very few spoke out against it, many never even provided a counter-proposal, and now they are dragging their feet in stopping it.
The blame for me lays squarely at the feet of the PEOPLE for not pressuring their representatives not to follow through with this agression.

Sorry charlie, the jihad is a religious thing and has nothing to do with politics. The jihad is there to convert everyone on this planet to Islam or kill the infidels in the process.
civil war? yeah, probably. That area of the planet has been in a state of civil war for about 7000 years now. I doubt if there were republicans (or even democrats) when this started.
Total jihad towards Americans? Nope, it's not just Americans, it's everybody.
read your history book..if you can find one that has not been rewritten

They are destroying it and us at the same time. I think the US is on it's way down personally. The war in Iraq started it all.
