Is this to take into hospital with you now that hospitals no longer provide milk and nappies?

I'm going to have to do the same thing (as if we're not going to have to take in enough stuff already!). I was going to get a big carton of SMA Gold that you can pick up pretty much anywhere for about £5 (Mothercare, Sainsbury's, Boots and Superdrug etc), you can also get small cartons for about a pound or so. I'm not sure what to do with bottles, I've bought some Tommee Tippee ones for home but might pick up a couple more for the hospital but then there's the question of how many do you bring in?

Anyway you can get the cartons pretty much anywhere where there's formula milk.

I don't know what SMA is, but I use Similac Advance and they have prepared bottles that I got in the hospital. You can buy them on Similac's website, but I have found great deals on Ebay. Try the company's website, but then look into Ebay. Good luck!!

yeah, they're pretty handy arent they.
As far as i'm aware you cant buy the prepared bottles, BUT, you can buy the sma milk already made in cartons from any good supermarket.
They're in the baby milk section.

You can't buy them, theyr'e just for hospital use. When I had babies, [my last one being 8 years ago] they had them then, but you can only buy ready made SMA Gold formula in cartons, that you pour into your bottle, and you can get these in most chemists/ supermarkets/Boots/superdrug.

Don't know about buying SMA in bottles but I do know that you can buy it ready made up in 9oz cartons that you just pour into your own bottle.

Try babies r us and sometimes the hospital will give you extra bottles. I know they did with my daughter and they gave me diapers too.
