No. As a matter of fact, the economy would expand. Mititary spending always shrinks the economy. Money to make bombs must come from the private sector through taxation. Taxation always shrinks the economy.

They do pay Defense Contractors lots of money ! o the economy wouldn't collapse but maybe theose Defense contractors would take their skills somewhere else like Russia or China or Iran or North Korea

It already colapsed. We don't have the production capacity to produce weapons or weapons systems. We can't even build Humvees.
