God is not in any way religous.Religion is the root of all evil nothing has come good out it is man made and there for false and of this world. Even if you believe in God that there is some higher power in every teaching there is good and evil. good and evil human kind have created laws for the ones that have no concept of living a deicent life to live, which are mostly created by a church. but then you have the law of the land which is best in my opinion.Religion is evil it divides people and hurts there for not god like.

By my definition of religious, wait I don't have my own definition of religious. I'll make one up really quick. Okay, religious is following a religion, and because Jesus' religion was in his Father (and himself, and the Holy Spirit), then I would say yes, God is religious. I wonder what the world would be like if God didn't believe in Himself?

Religious is a term we use for human beings, God is not a human being ergo he's not religious.
I think the worst mistake about God is to consider Him as we consider human beings.
We tray to make of God a human and humans gods.

Yes, as God is the "Truth" so learning to follow that is, and has been, the most rewarding/successful pathway that I have ever had/known, in the experience of the length of my life.

So God is that Religion too .......Invented it!

God is a concept. Religions are manmade. men split God also into many to satisfy their whims and fancies. so God is not religious - only the people .

I agree with subra, I was going to say that...almost exactly....but when I read his answer I felt contempt, and I don't think anything else should be added, it was simple and to the point while tastefully answering the question.

God is the unknown, so we are foolish to make claims about the unknown. We can fantasize about it, but that is not what people think they are doing.
