Obviously the people who answering rudely have no experience in this dept! After a day of standing in those shoes for the wedding, you will be very ready to get out of them. At my wedding (which didn't consist of old people), at least 1/2 of the women had their dress shoes off by the time it came to dance.

I think that if you will be indoors for the reception, nice slippers that match the dress would be a GREAT idea! They'd be less likely to slip on the dance floor and wouldn't ruin their nylons. I'm thinking something like the ballet slipper type (not real ballet slippers obviously- the ones that resemble them), you could get them in white at Walmart even for less than $10 and dye them (or have them dyed) to match your dresses.

I personally do NOT like flip flops at all and I think that would be an annoying feeling.

hon i need just a little more info... i would say it would be very nice since we all know that wearing heels for a long time gets painful not only for your feet but your whole body... i say if the reception is inside slippers would be nice... if it is both inside and out or purely out i would suggest flip flops... but either way you go i would say get fairly nice ones... but you dont want to spend a WHOLE bunch but you dont want to spend like nothing on them either... i mean most weddings are pretty costly... i hope i was some help... and congradulations... im happy for you...

i'd make each and every present in positive condition their age, at the same time with a 20$ present card to a primary eating place, their favourite keep, how some e book keep, espresso shops or provide a recent card to have their nails accomplished or to a hair salon. tell mom to return the "Bridesmaids" bags (whilst would they use it returned?) use the money from the baggage to function to the present enjoying cards. do not provide candy or makeup as this would come off as finding low-priced. won't have the ability to bypass incorrect with a recent card! good success and best desires to You and Your Fiance'.

that would be a thoughtful thing to do, so they don't all have to feel like they have to be wedged into their pumps all day...especially if you are going to switch to flip-flops or flats after the ceremony yourself...plus, you can get them all the same colour, to coordinate with the dresses that they will be wearing
